Sonya-Lee works for Horizons Hospice and is a graduate of Wheelock College in Boston and received her Master’s degree in Social Work at Virginia Commonwealth University. Sonya-Lee has several specialized certifications including being a certified grief counselor. Sonya-Lee has spent the majority of her professional career working within the medical setting first with children with developmental disabilities and most recently with hospice patients and their families. She enjoys volunteering at Full Circle a non-profit agency that provides grief counseling for children, kick boxing and time with her 11 year old son, Zachary and 13 year old Corgi.
