Kelly Slothower lives in Richmond and grew up in Gettysburg, PA. She currently works at a local advertising agency and teaches at the VCU Brandcenter. Kelly cared for her father who had Alzheimer’s disease for a number of years. Her dad, Ken Cogan, grew up in NJ and has two daughters and three grandchildren. He served in the navy during Korea and retired after 35 years as an engineer for the department of defense.
