Before becoming President & Owner of Nelsen Funeral Home & Crematory, Blair retired as a Major from the Virginia Air National Guard.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts with Distinction from UVA, a Master of Aeronautical Science from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and an Associate of Funeral Science from John Tyler Community College.
Blair currently serves as a Trustee of the Funeral Service Foundation and was appointed by former Governor Tim Kaine to the Virginia Board of Funeral Directors and Embalmers.
